Hi and welcome to my world!
What can I say about myself? Well, lets see! I am a very happy mother of 2 boys! I was born in the mountains of Tn, and was raised and live in North Alabama.
I work at a local hospital, and love my job! I love to help people anyway I can.
My name is Kaye Sledge, but my daddy calls me Cricket, and that nickname has stuck with me all my life. I am just a plain ole country girl!! Ain't nothin' fancy about me!
My art.. well, lets see, I paint part time, since I work full time! But, I love to paint. I love to make people laugh and smile with my art. I paint a lot of childrens art, redneck art, seascapes, landscapes, folk art, and have been known to paint a nude or two! Anything that pops into my heart at the moment! I almost always paint with acrylics but have been known to try my hand with watercolors. I always seal my art with acrylic sealers, and it's acid free, so you don't have to worry about decay.
I ship my art the next business day if possible, I don't think people should have to wait once they paid. I combine shipping on muti-wins, and ship my art world wide. And you know what that means, people all over the world gets to see my art! Wow, I think I need to sit down a minute!!
I always e-mail my buyers and thank them for the nice feed back they leave me. I thank that it's very important to let people know you appricate them.
I have won a contest, came in 3rd place in a Ismudge artist contest. And man, was I proud of myself, you should have seen some of the art that was entered in that contest! The artist was amazing!!
