The Scottsboro varsity boys track and field team notched a 17th-place finish in the highly competitive Hoover Open on Saturday. Hoover won the event with 165.60 points with Opelika claiming the runner-up spot.

It was another stellar weekend for the Scottsboro High School track and field teams. Scottsboro participated in the Alabama A&M Bulldog Relays Saturday in Huntsville, and SHS athletes secured some lofty finishes. The meet held events in both high school and college divisions.
