Almost every Saturday Singles at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles - Dancing 7:30 till 11:30PM every Saturday Admission is FREE!!!! UCS Officers will not be in attendance every week, but will be there when available (Paul will try to be their the 3rd Saturday) There normally are a lot more people than the number that RSVP Location: The Fraternal Order of the Eagles, on 10th St SW, (just off Bob Wallace Avenue between Jordon Lane and Triana Blvd, Directions: From Memorial Pkwy go West on Bob Wallace. From Jordan Lane go East on Bob Wallace. 1st Saturday of the month Arab Singles Dance 2nd & 5th Saturday of each month WHAT: BAMA Singles Dance(Heavy on Line Dancing) Ages typically 45-80 WHERE: Marshall Shriner's Club Meeting Building in Henryville near Guntersville/Claysville. Music: The music will be mostly hit country with a little (60s thru Present, Classic and Light Rock and Roll, alternating fast and slow music some line dance to most songs. Directions from Huntsville: From Memorial Parkway and Governors in Huntsville take 431 S about 35 miles, just after the Department of Transportation Sign (around mile marker 302), go around a big curve, then turn left just after church/nursing home on left, but before Rob's Bar-B-Que), this is called Buttercup Drive, go 200 ft bare to the right on Morningside Rd, follow this road to the left about 10 seconds and, turn on the second dirt road to the left and you will see the Marshall Shriner's Club House sign (in Henryville), turn left into the parking lot. Your first clue will be about 5 flood lights grouped together if it is dark and a lot of cars parked in front of it if it is still daylight 5th Saturday of each month (see 2nd Saturday of each month above) About United Christian Singles and the Quarterly dances United Christian Singles was not formed to compete with the churches in the area. Its goal is to supplement the singles activities of the churches. Many churches can not get enough singles together for activities at their church. Often at the Church singles group, it is hard for a single person to meet someone their age. A Church Singles Group outing to a United Christian Singles Party is an excellent opportunity for singles to meet new Christian Singles, without having to leave the church they love, to find a bigger singles group. United Christian Singles is always searching for good activities, in which our singles can participate. There are some very good Christian singles groups, and singles activities in the area, but they are often hard to find. United Christian Singles tries to find out what is happening in the community and attempts to pass it on to the Christian Singles on our mailing list. We hope to expand this United Christian Website, to link to Church activities, Beginning Again and Divorce Care classes, hikes, picnics, community activities, other social groups and volunteer organizations, and to good Christian websites. Location of all UCS Dances- At the Huntsville Jaycees Building in Huntsville Alabama. Dance from 6:00-10:00 PM doors open at 5:45 please arrive as close as possible to 5:45 Music will be mostly light rock from the 60s to present day, and some novelty (ballroon, cajin etc.) music and should alternate between fast and slow dance songs tilted toward the theme. All Singles and Singles Groups are invited.
