I am the former owner of Rocket Harley-Davidson, 1 mile from here. I will be absolutely honest with you and volunteer anything I know about this place. I dislike realtors and their selling process.
You can choose not to pay Huntsville City taxes, and be in Limestone County only, w their schools (Tanner) and trash pick-up. Prospects don't seem to find us here with Madison PO in Huntsville City, half-way to Decatur. In the long-term (10+yrs), Huntsville at Greenbrier will be the next developed area with easy access to the interstate, and will be four-laned eventually (on the other side, thankfully). We love this unique place, our neighbors, and the nearby Wheeler Wildlife Refuge for bicycling, hiking, fishing and hunting. If we had to stay in Huntsville, we would stay right here. The sunroom and outbuildings cost $120,000 and the house $106,000. All the work on the house is a loss, my guess is $40,000+. Prospects might not like the narrow bathroom #1 off the hallway (refurbished though) and the small shower in bath #2. It hasn't bothered us any with just two of us. The garage could well be used for business purposes, in addition being tall enough for
a full-height automotive lift wired with 220v. Region's bank appraisal was $220,000, a fair price, and note we would consider financing, lease to own, or some such as well. This FSBO listing is old, and incomplete until this update.
